Lori Harrell, DDS
Dr. Harrell knew all along that serving others through dentistry was part of her calling. With the support of her family, she earned her doctorate at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 2013. She has experience in private practice and has maintained a commitment to continuing education even while living abroad, most recently in Belgium. Her husband’s job has spurred the family’s relocation this summer, and they are all excited to explore the sights of the DC area as they settle in as part of the Northern Virginia community.
Dr. Harrell has received superb training in contemporary cosmetic and general dental techniques, and she is comfortable using those skills to benefit patients of every age. More importantly, her excellent clinical skills are exceeded only by her compassion and care for patients.
Dr. Harrell married her high school sweetheart, John, and they’ve been adventuring around the world as an active duty Army family for 15 years. They’ve welcomed two sons and two daughters along the way, with ages ranging from two to 13 years old. In the midst of family life, Dr. Harrell tries to make time for reading and running, having completed her first half marathon last March. She feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel; exposing herself to cultures, customs and people from around the world has given her a unique perspective on life. Additionally, she has demonstrated a dedication to community engagement since she was a teenager.
