Mary Kate Moriarty, DMD is a 1991 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts and received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University in 1985. Dr. Moriarty grew up in Western Massachusetts but has considered Northern Virginia her home for almost 26 years. She is excited to bring her many years of clinical experience to Hilltop Dental Studio.

Dr. Moriarty practices compassionate care while utilizing the latest materials and clinical practices. She believes in treating her patients’ health, not just their teeth, and is especially pleased to improve overall health with sleep appliance therapy, nightguards for clenching and partial or full mouth replacement with implant restorations. Dr. Moriarty has been an Invisalign provider since 2008 and continues to use continuing education to bring the latest findings to her patients. Her professional affiliations are with the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.

In addition, Dr. Moriarty is a member of the American Dental Association’s Advisory Circle and provides feedback to the ADA on current concerns for its members and the general public. In her free time Dr. Moriarty enjoys painting, letting her golden retriever Lola take her on hikes, and surviving online trivia fun with her Learned League and Jeopardy friends. Dr. Moriarty also rows competitively with the Northern Virginia Rowing Club on the beautiful Occoquan Reservoir. She is a Tribe and a Hokie mom!
